CHESTER, NJ, August 13, 2007 - Conservation Resources Inc
(CRI) today announced its second annual round of the Small
Grants Program, which will award funds to non¬profit conservation
organizations throughout New Jersey.
According to Michael Catania, President of Conservation Resources
Inc., “these small grants will provide seed money for
the initiation of land preservation projects, to help cover
certain costs which are not fully reimbursable by other existing
grant programs, such as appraisal and survey expenses, to
provide matching funds to support non-profit land stewardship
and ecological restoration projects, and to help jumpstart
other non-profit capital conservation projects.”
Funding for CRI’s 2007 Small Grants Program has been
provided by the William Penn Foundation, the Geraldine R,
Dodge Foundation, the Victoria Foundation, the Tiffany&
Co. Foundation, and several individuals The deadline for the
submission of applications is Friday, September 21, 2007.
