| Conservation Resources Inc. has participated in several Natural Resource Damage Settlements, some notable examples of which are listed below. Click here to learn more about how Conservation Resources works with Potentially Responsible Parties, NJDEP, and land conservation organizations. |
| CODARIO FARM, DARMSTADT PRESERVE, AND MACKANNAN / SOUTH JERSEY INDUSTRIES NRD SETTLEMENT |
Conservation Resources Inc. was granted $550,000 from a NRD Settlement to fund three featured projects. Each of these projects provides groundwater recharge and natural resource protection and is a good nexus to the type and location of natural resource damage that allegedly occurred.
In this settlement, CRI worked with South Jersey Industries,
the NJDEP Office of Natural Resource Restoration, and our
non-profit partners to identify these projects. We entered
into a Regulatory Contribution Agreement with SJ Industries
and grant agreements with the non-profit grantees.
Under the Regulatory
Contribution Agreement, CRI is acting as the fiduciary,
providing technical assistance to the non-profit sponsors
of the the projects, and will report back to the NJDEP and
the Potentially Responsible Party once the projects have closed
and have been permanently protected.

it, the Settling Party made a contribution of $150,000 to
CRI in order to partially fund preservation of the 226-acre
Friendship Creek Preserve Project, located in Tabernacle Township,
